We have been holding camp since 1981. Chuck Koeppen and Caroyln Yost teamed up to bring together high school runners in the summer time to build relationships, share knowledge, and train for the upcoming cross country season. Over the last forty years we have continued those efforts by extending camp to middle school runners too. We continue to be able to offer guest speakers and staff with immense experience and insight in both track and cross country. While All-Star Cross Country Camp provides some great practical opportunities, campers love the opportunity to gather and have fun. We have numerous tournaments throughout the week building camper relationships not only with teammates they attend camp with, but also with other runners from across Indiana and the Midwest.
2021 Updates
We are officially OPEN for June 2021. Camp will run from June 28 - July 2 at Anderson University. Registration is currently open (use the red button above to access). The University is asking that campers and staff be masked up at times when we are not running. Otherwise, camp looks to run as it has in the past. We are looking forward to having everyone join us. Bring your siblings and/or teammates to add to the experience!
Runs twice per day
Educational/Informational sessions twice per day
Camp Tournaments: ping pong, ultimate frisbee, euchre, 3v3 basketball, co-ed volleyball.
Our Goal
To share knowledge and experience in the physical and mental aspects of cross country and to improve total readiness for the upcoming cross country season. Athletes will have a general pre-season conditioning opportunity, along with a strong emphasis on running skills and modern training theories combined with recreational fun. Training methods and workouts will correlate to each individual athlete's fitness level.
